Shipping Delays Across the Country and Temporary USF Alternative for Shipments from The Green Room

A widespread winter storm is is disrupting travel and power across the U.S. The storm, stretching from Texas to New England has brought freezing rain and more than a foot of snow to a wide swath of the country. Drivers are reporting the conditions are treacherous. Freight will be impacted by system-wide delays as a result. It is likely that your shipment will take longer than normal.

Additionally, we received notification this morning that both the Tacoma and Seattle USF Reddaway terminals are running a minimum of 4-5 days behind on any/all shipments moving through either terminal due to staffing issues related to COVID. Facilities normally staffed with 30+ people are working with only 5-10. Depending on when staff are able to return to work, it is expected to take a minimum of 1-2 weeks before an improvement is recognizable. If your order ships from The Green Room and you use USF Reddaway, we suggest considering other freight carriers for the next few weeks.
