We worked diligently with our partners to define a quintessential Guatemalan flavor profile that would not only exceed the standard grade qualities at an economical price, but also offer consistency from container to container, and year to year. Our “Tikal” answers the challenge by giving our exporters the flexibility to utilize coffees from various growing regions (Huehuetenango, Antigua, Atitlan, etc.) as cup quality and character change over time. Dark chocolate, bright red apple, a honey-sweet finish and excellent consistency cup-to-cup define the “Tikal” profile. Our “Tikal” is well suited to being featured as a single origin offering, and its consistency, sweetness and balance are ideal for adding top notes to filter or espresso blends.
